A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you
pack your knitting.

Need help deciding whether this trip suits you? Joanne and Jodi can talk through the details.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. You do not need to know the hosts or anyone else in the group. Single-occupancy stateroom pricing is available on request, subject to availability and any applicable single supplement.

Can my partner or a friend join if they don’t knit?

Absolutely. Non-knitting partners, friends and family are welcome. They can enjoy the cruise and destinations while you spend time with fellow crafters. Participation in the craft activities is optional.

Do I need knitting or embroidery experience?

All skill levels are welcome in the group. The project details and any recommended skills will be shared when the program is finalized, so you can decide whether you would like to take part.

Are the knitting project and kit included?

The optional knitting and embroidery kit will be sold separately. Julie and Miranda’s project details, kit contents and pricing are expected in January or February 2027. The final hosted schedule and any other activity charges will be confirmed before participation.

Are flights, transfers and a pre-cruise hotel included?

No. Flights and airport transfers are not included. An optional pre-cruise stay in Amsterdam and visit to Stephen & Penelope are proposed, with arrangements and pricing still to be confirmed. These would be additional to the cruise fare. Joanne and Jodi can help with your travel arrangements.

How much free time will I have?

You can join in as much or as little as you like. Choose your own shore excursions, spend time with the group or enjoy the ship independently. The detailed hosted schedule will be shared once finalized.

What if I have mobility or accessibility needs?

Discuss your needs with Joanne or Jodi before booking so they can check suitable stateroom options and cruise-line requirements. Shore excursions may involve stairs, walking and uneven ground. Ísafjörður is listed as a tender port, where access can depend on conditions and individual needs.
