Textile Tour of Scotland
Experience Scotland through its textile traditions, historic landmarks and welcoming culture. Based in Edinburgh, this small-group journey combines the Great Tapestry of Scotland, Dovecot Studios, a tartan-weaving workshop, the Moy Mackay Gallery and the Glasgow School of Yarn with Edinburgh Castle, Melrose Abbey, museums, guided touring and time to explore.

Robin Whitford
Textile artist, business owner and Advanced Oxford Certified Punch Needle Instructor
Robin’s love of fibre arts began at age six, when she started knitting for her dolls. In 2020, she launched Hooking Outside the Lines and its Creativity Club, an online membership community that celebrates rug making, encourages experimentation and brings makers together.
Robin is passionate about helping people connect with their inner artist—whether they believe they have one or not. Her warm, encouraging approach makes this journey welcoming to experienced textile artists, curious beginners and companions who simply want to discover Scotland.

Tour Price
Price is per person in Canadian dollars, based on double occupancy.
